If this is your first time using the E-file service, and you're using QuickBooks Payroll Core, Premium, or Elite, you can access the authorization form by following these simple steps. To begin, here's how:
- Select the Workers menu, then Employee.
- Choose New Payroll Tasks.
- Click E-sign legal authorization forms.
- Select Continue.
In you've used E-filing in the past, you can access the forms by going to the Payroll tab in your QuickBooks Online company. I'll write down the steps below so you can proceed. To begin, here's how:

- On the left navigational bar, go to the Payroll tab.
- In the Overview section, find the To do list.
