If you are referring to the checking or bank account set up for direct deposit not automatically posted when processing DD for new employees, we can review the Payment method set up for this. Here's how:
- Go to Payroll, then Employees.
- Select your profile.
- From the Payment method, select Edit.
- From the Payment method dropdown, select Direct deposit.
- Review the correct banking information for your checking account.
If it is the correct one, then we'll need to wait for the DD transaction to be posted on your checking account. You can verify this by logging into your bank account's online website.
On the other hand, If your new employee didn't receive their direct deposit, it's possible it could've been rejected or the money was deposited to the wrong employee. There are many reasons a rejection could occur. You can review each of them in our following articles:

If your employee hasn't received their funds by 5 PM PT after the deposit's settlement date, and you haven't received any notification emails from Intuit about a rejected deposit, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and perform a direct deposit trace.
