Why does my employees quickbooks app say mobile time entry restricted?

Let's check your employee's mobile time entry permission, nmgrassguru.

In order for your employee to effectively use the clock-in on the app and ensure accurate time tracking, you'll need to give your employee permission to use the Mobile Time Entry app.

Without this permission, your employee will encounter an error when attempting to clock in on the app within QuickBooks. This permission is crucial for seamless time entry and payroll management, allowing your employees to track the hours easily worked and provide you with accurate reports.

To grant the Mobile Time Entry permission, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Admin needs to go into the web dashboard and choose My Team.
  2. Open the team member profile and click Permissions.
  3. Turn on Mobile time entry.
  4. Once you sync, you should be able to start tracking time on the app.

By granting permission to use the Mobile Time Entry app, your employees will be able to efficiently track their time using the Workforce app, resulting in improved accuracy and streamlined payroll processes. For more details about the process, you can refer to these articles:
