Why doesn't my '2023 tax info summary' reflect the estimated taxes I've already paid? Before I send this info to Turbotax, I'd like to be sure this's reflected?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community space, @kitvogel-sbcglob.

Before anything else, it's best to review the transaction's category and ensure you selected the correct category to reflect in your 2023 tax information summary inside QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Know that choosing the right category will have an impact on how or where it'll show in the report. We'll gladly write down the steps to get you going:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Self-Employed company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Transactions tab.
  3. Locate the transaction and then below the Category and Tags column, review the category. If you wish to change the current category, click the existing and then choose the appropriate category.

If the issue persists, you can contact our Customer Care Team so they can check your account in a secure environment and conduct further investigation to determine the root cause of the problem. Please see this page for more details: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

In addition, you can visit this page to learn more about what taxes the program calculates and what's not calculated: Automatically estimate your income tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
