Will Thunderbird work to send forms in 2021 desktop?

I'm glad to let you know that QuickBooks Desktop 2021 gives you the option of using Mozilla Thunderbird, namaste364.

There's a possibility that Windows 11 is the reason why you can no longer send forms using Mozilla Thunderbird.

Please know no supported version of QuickBooks Desktop is certified as fully compatible with Windows 11. If you choose to use Windows 11, your company file will likely open and may be used. There may be some unexpected issues with your QuickBooks software.

These are the currently supported operating systems for running QuickBooks Desktop:

• ​​Windows 10, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed
• Windows 8.1, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed
• Windows Server 2019, Standard and Essentials
• Windows Server 2016, Standard and Essentials
• Windows Server 2012 R2, Standard and Essentials
• Windows Server 2012, Standard and Essentials

You need to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10 to ensure compatibility with QuickBooks. And, for you to be able to email forms with Mozilla Thunderbird again.

Utilize the trial license for QBD 2021 to make sure before buying the license.

Great idea but I can't get a trial version. The only place I can find it is to buy from Costco.

Also, just realized that I'm in the US site, whereas I should be in the Canadian site.

I guess what I really need is someone that has 2021 on Windows 11 to check if Thunderbird is an option.
