Windows Server 2008 support is ending
by Intuit• Updated 6 months ago
As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows Server 2008. This means that computers running on Windows Server 2008 will be more vulnerable to security risks and viruses.
At Intuit, the security of our customers’ data is a top priority. To help customers safeguard their personal information, like their Social Security number and bank account information, we strongly recommend that desktop customers using Windows Server 2008 upgrade their operating system to newer versions of Windows Server, before installing their product.
