Hi I'm thinking about purchasing QB Desktop Pro and I wanted to make sure I was able to do the following before purchasing. Here's my situation: I'm in the process of starting a single location dental practice and want to start using QB Desktop pro before building my office. Once the office is built I want to move the QB data onto my Linux server and then be able to use QB from a separate Windows 10 workstation. Is this possible to set up QB this way? How do I migrate my data on to the Linux server?
Unfortunately only Enterprise edition supports Linux. You may try to install Pro on Wine to run on Linux. But if you don't have any dedicated IT support, you should avoid that option.
Linux server is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, gotlight.
