Buy now & saveMy first Community post - the latest update or patch notice upon opening fails with 3 errors: 1712, 1603, and 1311.Source file not found, with the last being the issue. The install is on local PC, with company files on a different PC with DSM. Before update all was good. The issue seems to be the update installer, it cannot find the file: C:Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\QbS0BC533F1\qbooks\Data1.cab - because the file Data1.cab does not exist in the users AppData folder - the path and folder are there, but not the Data1.cab. The user in this instance has ADMIN privilege's.
Any suggestions apprecaited.

Thank you Clark_B, I will follow these steps on Wed 30th, after payroll, and will reply back here. Really appreciate the detail.
Clark_B - am replying early since QB would not open today without patch update.
SUMMARY:
It was quirky to update Tool Hub, had to force previous version to remove itself first, needed reboot to complete, then success with 1.6.0.8. Tool Hub did not resolve issue - but did install some missing MS tools. The fix was your suggestion to re-install QB 2024 and use the REPAIR option. After another reboot, QB successfully installed the current patch and was operational once again.
Case Closed - extra awesome since it is payroll day.
Best regard's, ffremaux
