Join nowAfaik we may unable yet converting Sage 50/PT directly to QBO. Install the trial license of Pro 2020 to try convert you Sage data file, then migrate it to QBO. Otherwise you have to purchase 3rd party conversion service.

The easier way to migrate your data is to use the QuickBooks Desktop conversion tool. I'll guide you all the way on this process.
We'll need to install and download QuickBooks Desktop software. We have trial links available so you don't need to purchase. Once done, we'll convert your data to QuickBooks Online.

On another note, year-end filing is near to come. If you'll use QuickBooks Online before the filing starts, you'll need to do the following:
We won't be able to generate federal and state payroll tax forms for the last 3 quarters. So, you'll have to manually prepare those forms if you haven't filed them.
If you'll be using QuickBooks Online for 2020, I would recommend converting your data on the first month of the year to start fresh.
