I'll share some information about installing your QuickBooks Desktop program.
To install QuickBooks, you will need an Internet connection for the following:
- Downloaded installation if you don't have the CD/DVD drive.
- Activation and registration of your product and license.
- Update of QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

Once installed, you can restore or open a backup of your company file.
