| New Shipping Manager | The Old Shipping Manager in QuickBooks will no longer be available after December 7, 2025. To keep using shipping tools, set up the New Shipping Manager. If you don’t see it, make sure your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest version. |
| Mandatory Job Title for VA payroll employees | The "Job Title" field is now required for any employee subject to Virginia (VA) payroll taxes. You'll need to enter a job title before you can save or update records for employees in Virginia. |
| 1099-MISC | The Account Mappings for “Excess golden parachute” have been moved from Box 14 on Form 1099-MISC to Box 3 on Form 1099-NEC, in line with the latest 1099-form requirements. |
