Can't export from QB

Hey. I can't seem to export worksheets from QB 22. That section is grayed out. This happens with Office 2016. I already did these steps.

1. Used Microsoft SARA tool to uninstall office.

2. Uninstalled all QuickBooks versions including anything named "QuickBooks"

3. Deleted the "Intuit" folder from these locations (I didn't rename the QuickBooks (year) to .old)

C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks (year)
C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks (year)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks (year)

4. Deleted all the QuickBooks "years" within the Intuit folder per user.

C:\Users\(current user)\AppData\Local\Intuit\QuickBooks (year)

5. Re-installed Office + reboot. Re-installed QuickBooks + reboot. Completed all QuickBooks updates + multiple reboots

Can't export from QB

I appreciate you performing specific steps in rectifying issues when exporting worksheets from QuickBooks Desktop 2022, jimmy. Let me share additional inputs to help you download data to an Excel file.

Since you've already completed all QuickBooks updates and are still unable to export worksheets, let's first ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements, so your QBDT operates smoothly when performing tasks in your company data. Once ready, you may consider repairing specific versions of Microsoft Office to make sure this works with your desktop file.

In addition to that, you may toggle Windows User Account Controls (UAC) settings on and off. Doing so will help reset anything blocking the export feature. Refer to these steps that will work for Windows 7, 8, and 10:

  1. Open the Windows Start menu. Type User Account Control Settings into the search and open User Account Control Settings.
  2. Select and move the slider to Never Notify. Then select OK.
  3. Restart your computer.

You may utilize this guide for more detailed insights: Fix export to Excel issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

However, if the issue persists, it's best to reach out to our Customer Care Team. They have the necessary tools to review your file and provide further assistance in resolving this concern.

Furthermore, you'll want to consider running specific reports to make sure you get to review your business finances and other accounting data.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for any additional queries when exporting worksheets to your desktop account. Just let me know and I'll be around to get you covered. Stay safe.
