Select Copy Company File for QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Save the file on a separate file/folder location with the extension MAC.qbb.
Restore the file using QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
In the No Company Open window, choose Browse.
Search for the file you want to restore.
If the file is coming from an external drive, create a copy on your device.
QuickBooks will ask if you want to restore a QuickBooks Desktop for Windows file. Choose OK.
Type in a name for the restored.
