Symptom: When logging in, Quick books Desktop Enterprise 22 had a pop-up saying a "Critical Update" was needed by the end of the month, for EVERY user's workstation.
Contacted Quick books. Identified that Updates showed an "Error" and status of "Never Updated" The Error Code now eludes me, but the Intel Tech has it on record.
Attempted all fixes that the Tech wanted: Checking Ports, Stopping Virus Protection, fixing the install using Tool Hub. Re-installing completely, Installing the Web-patch. The web-patch did clear the error message...For 3 days.
On the third day, when it re-appeared, Intuit was contacted again. The suggestion was to upgrade to Quick books Desktop Enterprise 24. In going through the steps of upgrading, they had me type a NEW licence number while installing and the install failed. Now Quick books doesn't open on the Server Station. We opted to not attempt any fixes on any other computer as this went so bad on the Server.
The Company File is alright, but cannot be backed up, or maintained (Quick books Database Serer Manager fails every time now). Workstations can access the Company File. Intuit firmly states that the failure MUST be because of a Windows Component issue. We worked with all IT, rolling back Windows updates, loading restores, and have 100% identified that it is NOT Windows Component issues. Something failed in the Intuit update process. During this troubleshooting, the Intuit Technician disconnected without even saying a word and never re-established connection.
We have a multi-million dollar business running, and have paid for Platinum service 24-hours a day. This needs to be rectified and fixed immediately, by a technician ASSIGNED to this issue. Getting a different technician every time and starting at the beginning running the SAME troubleshooting steps to rule out hours of already done tests needs to stop. Please contact us immediately.
Current message when opening Quick books Desktop: (Error 3371, Status Code-1) is received. All contact information is in my Intuit CAMPS profile.
