Hello. A small 6-10user network is being built with Windows11pro workstations. Installing Quickbooks Enterprise 23.0. The server where the data will be stored will not have Quickbooks installed. Does this server need to be running a full Windows Server operating system or can it be another Windows11pro workstation with just the Quickbooks Database Manager running? Thanks.
I wanted to clarify that the server will share the Quickbooks Enterprise data but that Quickbooks Enterprise desktop will not be used on the server; just the database manager.

Hello Rasa-LilaM,
Thank you for your thorough reply. So it looks like we will require a full Windows server computer to support the Enterprise Desktop 2023 running the Quickbooks Database Server Manager. That said, what would you recommend as a processor for the server. I see where the Quickbooks Desktop has a recommended 2.4GHz and 16GB memory. I am looking for good performance for growth and not just minimum hardware requirements.
Thanks again.
