I can share some information with exporting your 2022 taxes from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @fishtank-2000.
Please note that currently, you can only export your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live for the current tax year. If you need to export your data from the year 2022, you may have to do it outside QBSE or add the data manually in TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.
Here are the steps to retrieve your data from 2022 in QBSE:
- Go to the Taxes menu.
- Select the Annual menu, click the 2023 tax year dropdown and select 2022 tax year.
- Click the Email tax details dropdown and choose either Tax Details or Tax Summary report.
Here's more information on how to track self-employed income and prepare for tax season. It also explains exporting data from QBSE to TurboTax Self-Employed and other programs, and guides users through the process of reviewing their data before sending it to TurboTax: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.
From here, check out the following article for detailed guidance with adjusting your expenses and deductions when filing taxes using TurboTax Self-Employed, based on the data exported from QBSE: Why some deductions don't automatically export to TurboTax Self-Employed.
I'm always here if you need further guidance about exporting your 2022 taxes. Let me know by leaving a reply below. Keep safe and have a great rest of the day!
