I bought the QB Mac Plus upgrade before I actually upgraded to Big Sur. Old version works, new does not have all functions I need working.

I finally after much headache got it up and running, but all functions do not work. Ironically after paying money for the Mac Plus I discovered the 2019 works just fine, which is more than I can say for 2022. The registry for my business checking and credit card will not open. I don't use any download services from the bank, I hand input. What is with this... I may have to ask for a refund.

Good job in updating the Big Sur on your computer. Make sure that your computer met the system and browser requirements. This way, you can avoid any problems when opening the program. Below are the specifications:

 

  • A minimum of macOS X v11.3 (Big Sur) is needed.
  • A minimum of iOS 12.0 is required for iPhone-related features.
  • The computer supports either Intel or Apple CPU hardware.
  • Internet connection required.

 

Once confirmed and the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can further investigate the problem and help you from there. Please reach them within business hours to guarantee a swift response.

 

Here's how: 

  1. Go to this QBDT help link. 
  2. Select your product and click Continue
  3. Enter your concern in the box and tap Continue
  4. Choose either Chat with us or Have us call you.  
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Additionally, QuickBooks will provide complete reimbursement to customers who are not satisfied with the product. This applies only to users who buy products within 60days.

After much hair pulling I finally was able to get it working after ignoring the registration window that came up as it wouldn't work. Not sure what I did but it did... I finally also figured out on my own that that the new version wanted me to re add my bank account registers. But, just so people will know...Mac version 2019 does work. I would definitely update and try it first before upgrading.
