Hello, and welcome to the Community, laurensigmanjewe.
A standard QuickBooks Online subscription supports the ability to integrate a Shopify account. Here's a brief overview of some of the benefits you'll experience by connecting the two accounts:
- All of your orders and refunds from Shopify will display as sales receipts in your books.
- Every order you export from Shopify into QuickBooks will automatically include all items and taxes (including shipping).
- QuickBooks will track the inventory you sell through Shopify. They notify us of the details for each transaction, including how many of each item you sold. QuickBooks then automatically deducts the sold items from your quantity on hand so that it remains up-to-date.
- You'll have access to an export summary and account balances after Shopify Orders are exported into QuickBooks.
- Line items and taxes are automatically imported upon exporting with no additional entries needing to be made.
- All Shopify Payments fees and payouts can be imported.
When you're ready to get started, you'll need to find which Shopify app you want to use. You can view our list of all QuickBooks apps that allow Shopify to connect with Intuit to find which one works best for you.
