I need to update from Desktop 2018 to 2022. Is this easy with the download?

I have Desktop pro 2018 and it will not work with new 1099 forms.  Can I just buy the update to 2022 Desktop and I will be ok?

You can utilize the trial version for QBD 2021 for the time being. You will have more time to decide whether buying a one time license for QBD 2021 or a subscription license for QBD 2022 later.
