How do I install the software so that I can transfer over my back ups and use QuickBooks on my new computer?
We may share the installer file of QBD 2009. But the question is do you want to keep using QBD 2009 on your new machine or do you want upgrading to QBD 2018-2020?

In addition to what Fiat Lux - ASIA, you'll have to use a CD driver to install QuickBooks 2009. While you can install the software, it may or may not work since it's not compatible with the new Windows OS.
You'll want to purchase a new QuickBooks Desktop version and convert your file.

We have couple of ways to help you transfer it to a new computer. We can use either the Migrator Tool or do it manually. You need to be the company admin to use the Migrator Tool.

How can I move my Quickbook 2009 from my old computer to my new computer
1. Prepare your installer file of QBD 2009, and license+product code
2. If you are using Win 10 or 8.1 on your new machine, you should install QBD 2009 on compatibility mode Win 7 to minimize error.
3. During the installation process, it may ask your for the activation code. Contact Support to generate it. If they declined to give it, you don't have any choice but upgrading your QBD to any supporting versions (i.e 2018-2021).
