Join nowHi, I'm trying to install QuickBooks Deskstop Pro 2020 into my new laptop but the activation window keeps popping up. I think it has to do with my version having only 1 user license. I checked the old laptop but under Utilities there is no option to Move QuickBooks Into New Computer. Would it help if I removed QuickBooks from the old computer and re-install on the new, activate and register? Help!

Make sure your QB on the old machine is not running when you activate the license on the new machine. Last resort, uninstall your QB on the old machine first.
Apparently, having it installed in the old machine has zero effect on the activation in the new laptop. I was told to register first, then activate. But that did not solve the issue. I needed to activate it manually and was given a validation code by a support team member.
