My company file was created in a Quickbooks Enterprise solutions program. I am now tring to open it in Quickbooks desktop Pro 2020 but it wont open.

It will not open as it cannot be back downgraded to Pro/Premier. You need the services of someone like Big Red Counsulting http://bigredconsulting.com/products/enterprise-to-pro-file-conversion/

You have to purchase a 3rd party downgrade service. It costs around $300 for standard service or $450 for expedited one including holidays/weekend.
