Quickbooks app won’t open

Got a brand new iPhone 11 a few weeks ago. The app won’t load on my phone. Had the same issue with my last phone the iPhone SE 2020 a couple years ago. I download the app, login and then it says “loading company data. This may take a few moments“ and it never leaves that screen. I’ve tried it with Wi-Fi without Wi-Fi and let it go for over an hour. Nothing changes. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled and even reset my phone to factory settings. Same issue happens every time. I’ve called customer service numerous times and basically they end up telling me it isn’t a QB issue and to just log into my account through Safari and do it that way. Since this has now happened more than one phone I don’t think it is a phone or carrier issue. Can someone please help here??

Quickbooks app won’t open

I know how important it is for you to access QuickBooks Online (QBO) app using your iPhone. You can open the company and accomplish any accounting tasks anywhere without logging in to your computer.


The issue you’re experiencing is already reported to our engineers. They’re working hard to get you back up and running.


We recommend all affected users contact our QBO Care Team to sign up to the notification list. Adding your company ensures you’ll get email updates about the investigation.


To reach them:

 

  1. Log in to QBO using a browser and navigate to the Help icon at the top to open the QB Assistant window.
  2. Choose the Assistant tab and enter a brief description about your concern in the Type something field, like Loading your data... Hang tight. This might take a few minutes while using my iPhone.
  3. Click the Get help from a human link and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process.
  4. In How would you like to connect with us? section, pick Chat to start a conversation, and Callback to speak with an agent.
  5. Provide this number to speed up the process: INV-68731.

 

While waiting for the permanent solution, login into QBO using a browser. This is to ensure you can keep track of your business transactions.
