I realize this is more a Windows 10 issue rather than a Quickbook's issue but I'd like to know if there is a workaround in allowing a non-admin user update QuickBooks when it prompts to do so. Currently, if the user clicks Yes on the prompt they are then prompted for the admin password which I cannot give them plus we can't allow this user to be admin also. Any help would be appreciated. If there is not an option for the user to do such is there a way to push the update via the domain?
No, it is a QuickBooks issue unrelated to your operating system. Only the admin can update QuickBooks. Even if you do not have multiple client computers but just a single instance of QB with multiple users you have to change to single user mode to update. If hosting a network every client must be logged off, multi-user shut off and updates distributed device by device.
