Join nowPurchased QBDT Pro Plus 2022 to upgrade from 2019. Spent 1.5 hrs with Tech Support trying to explain that it will not install because I get this: "Seems like you are trying to repair Quickbooks using an older version.... You will now exit from setup." I need someone that can actually get this purchased program to load. Even after the 1.5 hrs, I told the Tech that nothing she did was going to get the program to download because we did not address the issue that it's trying to "repair Quickbooks" instead of installing the 2022 upgrade. Any suggestions? I've been unable to work in this company for 2 weeks now. Need help ASAP! Thanks in advance.

I fixed this issue by performing the following steps
BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY!!!
Went into appwiz.cpl and uninstalled anything associated with intuit and quickbooks including the ABS PDF software then I went into the registry searched for "intuit" and deleted any CLSID and HKEY_CLASS_ROOT keys referencing the "intuit" key word or had "intuit" in the file path
After I did this and restarted I was able to reinstall the software normally.
