Hello - I seem to be inexplicably missing all transactions beginning with 8/11/2023 til now. Is there some system issue? Or has anyone had this issue and can help? TIA.

As far as I know, nothing has changed with my accounts or my payments for services.

Hello - I seem to be inexplicably missing all transactions beginning with 8/11/2023 til now. Is there some system issue? Or has anyone had this issue and can help? TIA.

I understand the concern arises when you encounter missing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @mytherapistjason. I'm here to assist you in resolving this issue so you can swiftly return to managing your business.

The connection between your bank and the program may have been disrupted, resulting in missing transactions. It can occur if your bank provider is undergoing maintenance or making changes. To verify this, you can visit your bank's website or reach out to their representative for assistance.

If everything is working on their end, you can manually refresh your bank connection in the program. This way, it will download the missing ones and the most up-to-date transactions into the system. Please refer to the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click Refresh All.

If the issue persists after refreshing your bank account, I recommend contacting our Customer Support team to help you further.

In the meantime, you might consider manually uploading the bank transactions into the program. Please note that there will be duplications once these transactions are downloaded in QBSE. However, if this happens, you can exclude the duplicates to resolve it and maintain the accuracy of your account. Here's how to

  1. Go to the Gear  icon and then select Import transactions.
  2. Find your bank account and choose Import older transactions under the Action column.
  3. Click Browse and select the CSV file you want to import.
  4. If you're routed back to the Import transactions window, click the Include all transactions option.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file and click Continue.

Also, may I ask if you've received any banking error codes? This information will help me provide you with the most appropriate solution to address your concerns.

Furthermore, you can categorize your bank transactions to ensure that each of them is correctly classified, providing a clear overview of your income and expenses while maintaining organization within your account.

You can also manually add the old transactions that weren't downloaded automatically to the program.

If you require further assistance or have additional concerns, please feel free to reach us. Our team is dedicated to guiding you through any challenges you may encounter and ensuring that your experience with QuickBooks Self-Employed is consistently positive. Have a wonderful day!
