How do I change my account settings to show GBP rather than US Dollars please?

Changing the currency of your books is a great functionality, Sian. I'll provide several options to achieve this.

QuickBooks Self-Employed uses the currency of the region you're subscribed to. Since you need to use GBP, I suggest manually converting the currency and entering it into your account. Otherwise, you can subscribe to the UK version.

Aside from that, you can also consider signing up for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Essential, Plus, and Advanced to use this feature. It'll allow you to record transactions in foreign currencies.

If unsure, you can utilize our free trial for 30 days. This way, you can navigate the program and learn how the system works before purchasing it. Once you've created a trial account, I recommend browsing these articles for references:

Additionally, I've added this article to help you record your self-employed income and expenses, track mileage, prepare your Schedule C tax form, and learn more about how the program tracks everything throughout the year: Overview of QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm always here if you have other queries about currencies or with your QBSE account. Would you like to learn more about other processes in QuickBooks? I'm with you every step of the way.
