How do i set a decimal in quick online

Hi there, @charleshcoxco

Congrats on making your first post. I'd be happy to help you set a decimal in QuickBooks Online.

Let's change the number format in your Account and Settings and here's how:

  1. In the top right, select the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings
  3. On the left pane, go to Advanced
  4. Click anywhere inside Other Preferences
  5. Select your preferred Number Format on the drop-down.
  6. Go to Save, then Done

Once you have completed the steps above, this also changes the dollar amount's format in other transactions and reports.

That should do it. Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any more questions about setting up decimals. Have a great rest of your day!

Thanks for joining us here, Anthony33.

I can help you enter a check number using your QuickBooks Desktop Pro.

In QuickBooks Desktop, if the check was marked Print Later, then it will show To Print. You can toggle it on and off to manually input the check number. I'll walk you through on how to achieve this below:

  1. Locate the check by going to Vendors and choose Vendor Center.
  2. From the Transactions tab, select Checks.

  3. Locate the check and click it to open.
  4. Toggle the Print Later option by removing its check mark.
  5. Click Save and close.

Now you're able to enter the check numbers and print the checks. I've attached a sample screenshot to visualize the effect of toggling the Print Later box.
