Good morning, @yedallc

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

It's a good idea to remember to close your browser after you've cleared the cache, then go back to QuickBooks Online and test your side menu again. If you've done this, then I recommend clearing Intuit-specific cookies from your browser. This helps refresh the preferences of the website that might be causing problems when you use QuickBooks. Since you stated you're on a Mac, I've included the steps below for clearing Intuit-specific cookies from Safari.

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click Safari beside the apple icon to the top left.
  3. Choose Preferences.
  4. Hit Privacy, then Manage website data
  5. Type "Intuit" in the search bar to find Intuit cookies.
  6. Select Remove all, then Remove now.
  7. Hit Done and restart Safari for the changes to take effect.

You can see more details outlined in Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online

I tried it again and it wouldn't clear.

It's working fine on my iPhone!

Great to hear that it's working fine on your iPhone, @yedallc. With this, I'm here to provide additional steps to help you access your data from the side menu in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First, let's ensure you're using the Safari 11 or newer version. This way, it'll improve the stability, performance, and security of the browser in your Mac. Just go to System Preferences from the Apple menu. Then, click Software Update to check for any updates.

Second, let's isolate the issue by logging into your QBO account through an incognito window (Safari). It doesn't store data in the cache. Thus, it's a good way to determine if it's a browser-related problem. Just press the Command + Shift + N shortcut on your keyboard.

Once signed in, go back to the side menu. If you're able to view the data from there, let's clear the cache of your Safari browser again. This helps remove its stored cache so it'll function efficiently.

However, if private browsing doesn't work, I'd suggest using different browsers. These are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. They will provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks. For more details, see this article's Supported browsers section: System Requirements For QBO

The side menu in QBO lists all the essential tasks you need when running your business. One of them is the Dashboard. It helps you get an overview of your company's income and expenses within a specific period. View the screenshot below for your visual reference.

I'm just a comment away if there's anything else you need. Take care always, @yedallc
