Is anyone else having Citi Bank connectivity issues for the past 2 weeks? Everything was working fine until then. Any feedback would be great.

Citi Bank credit card connectivity has been down for me for over 2 weeks now. I am afraid to delete and reestablish and lose all of my past transactions.

It's our top priority to get your bank transactions updated, @cheftaishi.

First, you'll want to manually update your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). It helps re-establish the connection between your bank and QBSE.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right.
  2. Select Bank accounts under Transactions.
  3. Click Refresh all

Second, if the manual update doesn't work, I'd recommend signing in to the Citi Bank's website. Then, check if there are any alerts or notifications that may block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. Once reviewed, click the Refresh all button again.

If the issue persists, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Support team. This way, they can further investigate this issue and raise a ticket, if necessary. In the meantime, you can download an updated list of your transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QuickBooks using a CSV file.

Be sure to keep in touch if you need more help with managing your bank feeds. We want to ensure this matter gets resolved. Have a good one, @cheftaishi.

On my two Citi accounts it has this message above it "We are having temporary problems accessing your account. Please wait a few hours and try again."

Appreciate the update, @cheftaishi.

Since the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. You can work with one of our specialists in letting our engineering team investigate why you're unable to connect with Citi Bank in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I'll show you how.

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter a few words describing the message prompt upon attempting to connect with online banking in the What can we help you with? field.
  5. Select Start a conversation or Have us call you.

I want to include that reaching out to our Customer Care Support is best during business hours from 6 AM - 6 PM Mondays to Fridays. Use this link to learn more: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

for now, its best to import your transaction into your QBSE account using the steps in this article: Add Older Transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You may also read through this article that'll help review your transactions after uploading the file to put them in the correct accounts: Categorize and Match Online Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If there's anything else that I can help you with aside from working with your bank account and transactions, please let me know by commenting below. I'll be around ready to assist you. Take care always!
