Multiple Issues Since Upgrading to 2022

Hello

I work for an MSP and we help manage about 200+ clients, and the majority of our clients do utilize QuickBooks desktop enterprise. I have extensive QuickBooks installation, and migration experience, 15 years of it to be exact. I have NEVER had SO MANY ISSUES WITH A QUICKBOOKS RELEASE THAN version Quickbooks 2022.

I am writing this post to hopefully inform Intuit, and some other customers of potential issues that we have yet to resolve, with the new edition of Quickbooks:

1.) Random File Locks being Displayed to users in multi-user mode

--- Quickbooks is in use, try again later

--- cant complete this transaction, (someone) is using this part of QuickBooks (which is bull, because no one was logged in besides "Admin")

--- You cant use this right now, as (someone) else is doing something that requires this data

We have tried the resolutions listed in this article - https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/manage-users/fix-locked-file-errors-q... and nothing has worked.

This company's server was about 6 years old, so we replaced it with a brand new server, and migrated the data over to the new server and the issue persists.

another asinine thing that is happening -

2.) Updates - Requiring us to restart workstations, 2, 3, or even 4 times to just INSTALL AN UPDATE for this new version. Why do I need to restart 4 times to install a simple update? OH, and Yes I am LOGGED IN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Common fixes listed in the above article, DO NOT WORK. I have run through them 3 times now. No change.

Calling in for Support regarding this issue :

Was able to open two tickets, and schedule a call with a Tier 1 tech, he ran through the same things I did, issue wasn't resolved. When we asked for an escalation or call back from a tier 2 or higher-tech, I need to be added to the company's intuit account (all of a sudden). Tickets for your references -

Ticket Opened on 5/23/2022 - 1581699338

Ticket Opened on 5/10/2022 - 1581114094

This company currently has 30 seats for Quickbooks, they utilize at least 15 seats ALL DAY for about 14 hours a day. These block issues are NEW to this VERSION ONLY. Quickbooks 2019 they did not receive ANY ISSUES with being blocked. So it is something Intuit has changed with the way the database is being accessed.

If it can be ATLEAST EXPLAINED of why this happening then maybe we could "wait" for a "fix".

Please do not respond to this thread with COPY PASTA, I dont need your Moderators, or Forum techs to even bother to assist, I am way past their skill level. I need someone who is an advanced technician Tier 2 or above.

I also would appreciate that Intuit and its employees KEEP THEIR PROMISED CALL BACKS and ACTUALLY CALL US BACK, so we can get this resolved.

We had scheduled a call back for this morning at 9 AM PST, I waited until 9:25 AM and requested another call back via the Help Function in the Quickbooks appl;ication.

I am now currently on hold awaiting a Tier 2 Tech...
