This is related to the recent question I asked. Please pardon any duplication but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible.
I have a rental property set up on my Computer, which will soon have Desktop 2022, it now has 2017.
A relative has a similar rental property and can use the same Company framework, without my data numbers, of course. The relative will also have a separate copy of Desktop 2022, with separate license. Both single user.
I would like to give the relative a stripped version on the Company that is on my computer. That is, all of the setup, formats, accounts, etc. but no numbers.
Is there any way to do this without getting into the .IFF file export area?
Thanks again,
Tom Parks, Sacramento
Create a new company file with your relative's Intuit ID credential, backup the file, and send it to them. Let them restore it on their own machine with their Intuit ID. Then reset the Intuit ID setting on the original file on your machine and change it to yours later.
Bear in mind, they only offer QBD 2022 with the subscription license. You can still purchase a one time license of QBD 2021 if required.
Thank you for the good answer.
Do you know where/how I can purchase QB 2021 without subscription? The people at QB said they only sell it by subscription.
Thanks again.
