This has been a friction point for us for a while. My bookkeeper isn't super tech savvy so here I am trying to patch together something that feels like it should be part of the program. Just sayin'. We receive funds from Stripe, Square, and PayPal...reconciling everything each month seems to be a big deal.
Explore the connectors as I mentioned earlier in the post to help your reconciliation.

Are you aware, do I need to purchase another software to connect Stripe with my QB Desktop?
There's no need to purchase another software, @allaccessaccounting.
You can easily connect your Stripe account to your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software. Just a few clicks and you’re good to go.
Just go to the App Center menu inside your software and look for the Stripe app from there. See the attached screenshot for visual reference.
You can also visit our Apps for QuickBooks Desktop page for additional reference.
I’ve also collected these resources that you can read for guidance. These can walk you through the steps in matching your transactions and reconciling your account:
Keep me in the loop if you have other concerns or questions linking your Stripe account or with QuickBooks related. You’re always welcome in the Community space. Keep safe!
Explore Synder to reconcile Stripe transactions into your QBD file.

But should you prefer a one time license app, you may utilize one of these importer tools

That's exactly what Chargezoom does. it's free and in the Intuit marketplace:

works with Desktop or Online.
Here's the link specifically for Stripe: Connect Stripe with QuickBooks
I think it's disgusting that they expect you to pay more money to integrate Stripe into Quickbooks. As an ecommerce business we need to take payments, and when signing up Quickbooks said that payment processors where included for free.
Telling us then to go install third party plugins and pay someone else the same as I pay for my quickbooks fee for something that is required is a con

Which eCommerce platform do you have? You may connect it to your QBO for free. And most of eCommerce platform supports Stripe for free.
I use Magento, and yes that's integrated for free.
What costs is syncing Stripe to Quickbooks.
If you only utilize Stripe to accept payment orders on Magento, you can connect QBO to Magento with Onesaas for free. Otherwise, explore the following app to reconcile Stripe transactions on QBO and avoid double income.

With the information provided here - does this mean that payment processing can be done by these third party providers and QB is not involved other than tracking invoices?
For example:
We send and invoice via QB to a client
There is a pay now link or card on file we hit PAY -
They pay via the the link and that is done via STRIPE -stripe processes and deposits funds into our account
Tracking of payment done in QB?
Want to ensure we understand before getting the app
Yes, you're right pl.
You can use a third-party app that integrates with QuickBooks and it will sync all the transactions in QuickBooks.
If you have further questions about synching Third Party app in QuickBooks, let me know. Also, I suggest contacting their customer support team.
Please know that you can always get back to us if you have any questions about QBO. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
The bottom line to this thread is everybody is asking the same question and you avoid to answer:
Are you going to develop a direct integration between Stripe and QB online?
You integrate with a bank and import transactions in seconds. Why don't you do this with Stripe too?
Don't recommend 3rd party apps. It's a direct integration we need.
Thank you.
Hi! In your case, if you are looking for QB online integration with Stripe, have a look at Skyvia. It is a web-based platform, that doesn't require coding knowledge to work with.

I fully agree. A direct solution is badly needed otherwise we will stop using Quickbooks
I could find 2 accounting apps offering a direct connection with Stripe. The fee is 2.9% + 30c (includes American Express cards) and the money arrives in your bank account in 2 business days. I am not sure QB will offer this feature as long as they still promotes QB Payment.
Totally agree, the only issue I have that PayPal charges double the percentage of Stripe.
No, they are not going to give you a straightforward answer, don't bother waiting for it.
If you need direct Stripe integration you will have to change platform (wave and others do have that).
Once enough ppl change platform they will integrate it, however you will not hear it here from the useless moderators.
...
Did you ever find a solution? We are just getting on with Woo/Stripe and Paypal. We tried OneSaas, we tried another third party app and the problem was one can pull in the transaction lumped together and separate fees and one can separate out sales, sales tax, freight but not the fees. We need one solution that breaks out sales, sales tax, shipping and paypal/stripe fees. What a mess this month trying to clean this up.
Onesaas only offers a limited function. To reconcile PayPal, Stripe, and WooCommerce transactions, you should explore another app.

Hi I do not see this option following your instructions, I am using the online intuit quickbooks app:
I'll answer this query for you, @teadpm.
You'll need to log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company using a browser from a computer. Follow these steps to proceed:
You can also view the QuickBooks Apps Store outside QBO. Same as earlier, you can use the search box on the page to look for apps that allow you to sync Stripe transactions.
Feel free to post a reply if you have other questions about third-party apps you can sync with QBO. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a great day ahead!
