Squarespace-Stripe-QB Desktop-Dilemma

Hi all,

We have our clients and donors purchase product items on our Squarespace site.

We have Stripe connected to our Squarespace site as the payment processing gateway.

Since purchases have increased, we are now using Synder to sync stripe payments into QB Desktop.

Now here is the dilemma, when I perform the sync, Stripe creates a product item in QB called "Stripe product" and within that new product item I can link it to an income account number which is fine. The problem is that we sell around 10 different product items on Squarespace that need to be linked to different income accounts and also need to be classified. When I inquired with Synder support, they told me that I needed to create product items in Stripe to differentiate the products and allocate them properly on the QB side. Makes sense right? The problem is that the product items exist in Squarespace and not in Stripe. So is there a way I can link a Squarespace product to a Stripe product so when I perform a sync, it will come in as 10 different product items instead of it all being dumped in one?

You'll want to check your settings with Squarespace so that you can use multiple items. You may consider reaching out to their support, so they can further assist you with the settings and help you right away.
