When open desktop QB, keep getting a message

When I open Quickbooks desk top I get the following message after it tries to put in memorized transactions: 

Try making the change again. If you see this error message again, please contact tech support or post a message on Community (choose Help > Community).

 

Anyone else having this issue? As soon as I click to import memorized transactions it pops up.

I'll take care of this topic for you, @SV07. Let's figure out what's going on and find a resolution in importing your customer list in 

QuickBooks Desktop.

 

You can run the Verify/Rebuild toolVerify will catch any damaged data. Rebuild will attempt to fix the damaged data detected. It also permits your QuickBooks software to restore the data inside the company file. 

 

Let's ensure that you create a backup copy of your company file before doing the Verify and Rebuild process. If changes occur, having a backup copy allows you to restore it to undo the changes.

 

Follow the steps below on how to verify data:

 

  1. On the top menu, click File.
  2. Choose Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data.
  4. Click OK when you see the message.
  5. If Verify finds an issue with your data, press the Rebuild Now or View Errors.
  6. Click Close or View Errors and take note of the specific error message.

 

Next, here's how to rebuild data:

 

  1. On the top menu, click File.
  2. Choose Utilities.
  3. Select Rebuild Data.
  4. Click OK if you receive a prompt to back up your company file.
  5. Press OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed and proceed to the next step.
  6. Then, run Verify Data to make sure there's no error.

This did not fix any of the issues and there were no different things to report.

Your file size should be fine. You are using QBD 2021 for Mac? Which MacOS do you run?

Try to install the trial version for QBD 2022 for Mac. Did you encounter the same error message?

 I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have tools to check the cause of the error message when memorizing transactions. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue.
  5. Once done, click Message Us or Let's talk.

 

Moreover, you can memorize reports in QuickBooks Desktop. Doing so helps you easily access customized settings for future reference.
