Why is the app not working? Is anyone else experiencing these constant bugs? I've called QuickBooks but they said they don't know either!

Let's ensure the mobile app syncs correctly with your computer's latest data. Then, refresh the app to fix some issues. You can follow the steps below depending on your phone's operating system.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Menu icon and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Refresh to confirm.

 

From your phone's settings, choose Apps. Then, select the QuickBooks app from the list, and click Storage. From there, tap Clear data.

 

If the issue persists, you may restart your phone, update your phone's operating system, and re-install the QBSE app. Also, consider logging in to your account using a web browser.

I work with IT for an engineering firm. I’ve troubleshot, uninstalled/reinstalled, refreshed, all of the above. The app doesn’t even let me login anymore. It’s for QuickBooks self employed.

It doesn’t even let me login. It just says Account does not include access…. But it logged me out early April and hasn’t let back in since I paid. Then I called and they said they didn’t know what was going on??

I can see that you've already contacted our support team, and anticipating to resolve this issue as soon as possible, @boricua_127.

 

Regarding the Account does not include access error message, this shows only when you're trying to access QBSE account credentials in a QBO mobile app. I suggest visiting this website using your mobile device and then scrolling down to download the QBSE mobile app right through your iOS or Android operating system.

 

If this is not the case, to further review your account, we'll have to investigate this issue in a secure environment. Since we're unable to share account details for security purposes, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) Support team again. They have advanced tools to check your account and see what's causing this hurdle.

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. From your mobile browser, copy and paste or type this link https://selfemployed.intuit.com/login.
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. Click ?Help.
  4. Select Contact Us.
  5. Enter your concern and click Continue.
  6. Choose to start a Chat or get a Callback.

While you're unable to log in to your account using the mobile application, I encourage you to follow steps 1 and 2 to log in using your mobile browser to continue accessing your QBSE data. Alternatively, you can log in using a desktop/laptop via a supported web browser.

I followed all of your steps. I still haven’t been able to login on my app and when I was finally able to login on a web browser, the data was outdated. I just recently got charged again but I can’t even use it. I’m so disappointed.

Since you still experience the same thing even after performing the recommendation provided in this thread, I highly recommend reaching out to our Phone support team via a web browser. They use specific tools to pull up your account and conduct further investigation to determine why you're unable to log in to your account using the app. Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QBSE account via a web browser.
  2. Next, select the Help menu and click Contact Us.
  3. From there, input  “talk to a human”, then select Continue.
  4. Choose either Have us call you or Chat with us to connect with them.

Still nothing. I can login on my desktop but not on the app. Deleted, reinstalled, still nothing. Of course they didn’t fail to charge me though!

Oh, of course they charged you.  They'll happily take anyone's money, regardless of the situation.
