Will not load past "we're fetching your data"

I was sent my 1099 as a link to intuit, but when I click the link, is just says "We're fetching your data." I have waited literal hours and tried using different devices/browsers. Obviously, this is a problem because I cannot access my tax documents. Has nayone experienced this and found a fix?

Since the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team using your mobile app. They're equipped with tools to check the cause. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed via a mobile app.
  2. Go to the Assistant icon at the top.
  3. Click I need help link.
  4. Choose either Message an agent or Get a callback

Hi, thank you for your response. When I click the assistant button, It says "We're currently working on this experience and will get it fixed as soon as we can. In the meantime, you can use the QBSE mobile app to view the Digital Assistant experience.

Apologies for the inconvenience."
When I try to use the mobile app, it will not load beyond the logo. I have also tried this app on multiple devices and even multiple networks. I feel like I'm stuck and I'm worried I won't be able to do my taxes.

First, I suggest resetting the app data to clear the cache and refresh it into its default state. Before doing so, let's ensure that your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app is updated, as well as your phone's OS. It helps your application work continuously without interruptions.

 

To clear the app's cache files, here's how:

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to Help & Feedback at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Reset App Data. Then, click Refresh.

 

For Android devices:

 

  1. Go to the More Options  menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap Refresh Data, and then click Yes.

 

After that, contact them again. If you're experiencing the same result, you'll want to uninstall and then re-install the QBSE application.
