Upgrade from QB Accountant Desktop 2021

We have an on-prem QB Acct Desktop 2021 and I want to upgrade it to a 2025 and want to keep it still on-prem. We don't have any add-on services and currently have 4 users. Is an server-client install of QB still available? Thanks.

There is no QB Desktop 2025. You can purchase QB Desktop 2024 Accountant Plus to upgrade your version and Intuit will support it until 2027 as long as you pay the renewal fee.

    Yes, Alex480. The server-client installation for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is still available for the updated versions. I will provide more details about this.

     

    The QuickBooks Database Server Manager allows you to share your company files with other computers on your network. To enable users to access these files, you need to run the QuickBooks Database Server Manager during the network setup. It also helps monitor your multi-user network.     Regarding your other question, the fee for your QuickBooks Desktop account is billed annually, rather than as a one-time charge.
