Yes, you can install the same license on the 2nd laptop. If you want you can also set up your new QuickBooks Desktop for Mac in multi-user mode so you and all other users can access the file at the same time. But you can do this if you have more than one user license.
You can follow these steps:
- Open the Multiuser folder and drag the QuickBooks Server icon to the Applications folder.
- Select Authenticate and enter the Admin username and password. Select OK.
- Launch QuickBooks and open your company file.
- Go to File, then select Enable Multi-user Mode to share your company file.
