If you have multiple license seats, QuickBooks Desktop allows multiple users to access or work on a company file at the same time. Let me help you to find out how many licenses you have.

Here's how:

1. Press F2 in QuickBooks to open the product information window.
2. Look at the number of User Licenses in the upper left corner.
3. Repeat for each installation of QuickBooks.

To find current pricing information for adding users to your license:

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select Manage My License.
3. Choose Buy Additional User License. (Note: If Buy Additional User License is not available, your QuickBooks may already be at the maximum users allowed).
4. Click Add Seats Online link to check the current pricing.

To update your new license information:

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select Manage My License.
3. Choose Sync License Data Online.

We currently are using QB 2019 desktop on our Mac. We sometimes have very unreliable internet, so frankly I'm hesitant to subscribe to an online service. We were without internet for an entire day last week after major storms. At least I could work in QB to keep everything current. So with no internet will I still be able to access QB 2022 and continue working? We already subscribe to QB payroll and the same question comes up. If internet is down, then no work gets done? It's all well and good to say you back things up, but if one can't access it, then what?
