Your Operating Sytems Needs an Update - 64-Bit

What does this error mean? My computer is Windows 10 x64 with 16 GB RAM (for sure 64-bit). I'm running QB Desktop 2020. Is this a generic message warning all QB users that they need to be x64? Or do I need to take action?

Your Operating Sytems Needs an Update - 64-Bit

Hello there, tramach.

Since your Windows processor has met the system requirements for QuickBooks 2020, you can disregard the message and tick the Please do not show this message again box. If you want to ensure the bit of your computer, you can follow the steps laid out below:

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Type in the search box Settings.
  3. Go to the System tab.
  4. Click About on the left-bottom part.
  5. Verify the processor under System type.

I've also added this reference for more information about the system requirements for QuickBooks 2020: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2020.
