2nd Party Email for Invoices

I have a bookkeeping company and have a few businesses under my QB account.  Is there a way that I can open "Sam's Sewing" QB file and email invoices that show his email address instead of mine, or does it have to be my email address since the main QB account is under my name?

You’ll want to set up his email details, @lwarner9489.

You can access Sam's Sewing QuickBooks file. However, your email address will still use to send a transaction. To prevent this, you need to set up his email details instead of your credential.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Select Send Forms.
  3. Mark the Web Mail and then click the Add button.
  4. Fill out the Add Email Info and select OK.
  5. Select OK to save your changes and ensure to make it as default.

2nd Party Email for Invoices

When I go into Sam's Sewing and try to add his email address, it asks me to log into my QB account or set up a new account.  I am not working with the admin account, it is a separate client's account.

Hey there, @lwarner9489

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. To clarify, is the message asking you to log in as the admin? If so, you'll need to log in as the admin of that account. If not, can you please provide a screenshot of the message you're receiving when trying to do the steps my colleague gave above? I'll be able to determine the best solution for this issue once I've been given this additional insight.

In the meantime, here's an extra article that can give some information about different users: QuickBooks Desktop Users and Restrictions

I want to make sure you're able to get this resolved as soon as possible. I'll be waiting for your response.
