I have a bookkeeping company and have a few businesses under my QB account. Is there a way that I can open "Sam's Sewing" QB file and email invoices that show his email address instead of mine, or does it have to be my email address since the main QB account is under my name?

You can access Sam's Sewing QuickBooks file. However, your email address will still use to send a transaction. To prevent this, you need to set up his email details instead of your credential.

When I go into Sam's Sewing and try to add his email address, it asks me to log into my QB account or set up a new account. I am not working with the admin account, it is a separate client's account.

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. To clarify, is the message asking you to log in as the admin? If so, you'll need to log in as the admin of that account. If not, can you please provide a screenshot of the message you're receiving when trying to do the steps my colleague gave above? I'll be able to determine the best solution for this issue once I've been given this additional insight.
