Buy now & saveWhen I go to the shipping module to create a UPS shipment, I get a series of popups like the screenshot. They are all access violations with various codes, but that .ocx file name is always the same. Why is this?
Hi there, @Maverick2.
Thanks for sharing the specific error you received when using the shipping module to create a UPS shipment.
The issue could be in the folder and/or database damage or permissions. The "Shipping Manager" database needs to be in the shared company files folder. Hence, you must have at least two user license versions of QuickBooks.
However, we can correct this error by restarting both the host computer and the network computer. Then, open QuickBooks on the host computer, and confirm that the shipping manager works. If it does, the database is not damaged. Leave QuickBooks open.
Once done, follow the steps below while using QuickBooks on the host computer:
Then, go to your network computer, then follow the steps below:
Go back to the host computer, then follow these steps:
Occasionally, you can also delete the UPS accounts in Shipping Manager on the network computer, then repeat steps 6 and 7.
For future reference, you can also avoid all of these by using a QuickBooks Remote Application Server.
Let me know how it works. I'll look forward to helping you again.
