We use a third-party company to ship orders, we purchase shipping labels thru them which includes the shipping cost + tax.
In order for us to purchase shipping labels, we top-up the account (e.g. $200)
So our bank transactions show just the top-up amount of $200 and categorized it as "shipping".
Now we have a monthly statement from the third-party company that shows how much was spent on the shipping label and the tax.
Shipping label: $170
Tax: $30
1. How do we put this entry in QBO? As we also want to put them in separate categories, not just put the whole $200 in to "shipping" category.
We want the Shipping label: $170 in a separate category and the $30 for the Tax category.
