Action required: QuickBooks Capital needs documents for your PPP loan

QB sent me this email asking for these reports. But they don't seem to exist in my program. After chatting with 'customer support' for an hour and a half, still nothing. The only report I have is the PPP average monthly payroll cost report that only offers dates for 2019. From what I"m seeing, I think this is the report they generated to estimate the amount we could borrow. But as far as a report for forgiveness, it doesn't exist. Yet, they seem to think it does. They're calling this report PPP forgiveness payroll cost. This is desktop premier 2020. Any insight would be helpful.

I appreciate the complete details you've shared, @windylou.

I'm here to guide you in generating the PPP Forgiveness Payroll Cost report.

First, let's make sure that your QuickBooks software and payroll tax table is updated to the latest version. Once completed, you can now run your PPP Forgiveness Payroll Cost report.

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select PPP Forgiveness Payroll Cost.
  3. Enter the date when your PPP loan was disbursed in the Loan disbursement date field.

Just make sure that you have tracked all of your PPP Cash Compensation in QuickBooks. You can browse this blog for more insights: How to create a payroll report for PPP loan forgiveness.

Also, I've added these articles for more reference on how QuickBooks handles your PPP-related transactions:
