Advanced Pricing

Our company use QuickBooks Enterprise and has all the features turned on including Multi-Currency, Advanced Inventory and Advanced Pricing.

We have created price rules based on the class selected and has entered the price overrides for the selected items.  We have four classes and a rule has been set up for each class.

The problem is, we had to use the verify and rebuild tool.  After this was done all the price overrides got put back to the regular price by QB.

Now, we do run the verification tool periodically (about every three months) and if any errors are identified we do a rebuild.  Do we have to re-enter the price override every time we do a rebuild?

Advanced Pricing

Hi there, @JosetteB.

I'll share some information about how the Verify and Rebuild utility tools affect your data in QuickBooks Desktop.

The Verify and Rebuild tools help fix the data issues of your company file. It's possible that the created price override rules had a data issue that's why QuickBooks put the price back to regular after rebuilding the data. You can check out this article to know how the Verify and Rebuild tools are used: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

If the issue persists after rebuilding your data, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can review this issue further and provide the best resolution to resolve this matter. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Help icon and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Write your concerns in the description box, then select Continue.
  4. Select which one of the support options you'd like to use.

You can also check out this article for another way of reaching out to our support team and its support hours: QuickBooks Desktop Support.

Come back to this post and let me know how it goes, @JosetteB. I'll be around to help.
