Alerts for declined credit cards not showing on dashboard

When I logged into the dashboard there used to be an alert for declined credit cards. It is gone.

I cleared cache and used different browsers. I have some clients weeks behind and some about to lapse another month.

After 90 minutes of chat support and screen share, everything but the answer and had to go through everything twice.

I am not interested in email alerts or having to go to intuit merchant services. I am not interested in alerts for email reports. I want to be clear it is an alert for declined credit cards that showed in its own box on the dashboard.

Very Frustrated. I hope someone can help.

Hello there, WilliamK.

I can see that you've posted a similar question here in the Community. My colleague has already responded with a solution. Let me share the link to the post so you can see the full details of the troubleshooting steps: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/payments/no-more-alerts-for-declined-credit-card-p...

For more details on how to configure email notifications for processed payments, check out this article: Turn on or off Customer Notification Emails for Recurring Payments.

In addition, you can bookmark the QuickBooks Payments FAQ guide in your browser for future reference. It covers a variety of payment-related topics, such as troubleshooting device issues, creating refund requests, and managing payment accounts, to name a few.

Feel free to visit the Community if you have other QuickBooks concerns or additional questions about the payments function. I'll get back to help you the best that I can.

Alerts for declined credit cards not showing on dashboard

Hi,

I'll follow up in that post to reduce confusion. Unfortunately the option to choose in step 6 does not exist to choose.

Thanks,

Bill
