American Express syncing with Quick books.

Our American Express charges are not downloading into Quick Books. QB tech support says it is an issue on Amex's end. Is any one else having this problem?

American Express syncing with Quick books.

Hi ibed,

 

We have received reports of the same incident. With that, I'd suggest reaching out to our phone support agents. One of them can take a closer look of your file and add you as one of the affected users.

 

Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us. 
  3. You can enter AMEX transactions are not downloading.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

 

As a workaround, you can bring your AMEX transactions via Web Connect. Le me guide you with these steps:

 

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Select Bank Feeds, then select Banking Center.
  3. Find your American Express account and select Download Transactions
  4. Sign in to your bank's website to download the Web Connect file.

 

Afterward, you can categorize the transactions to ensure they match your bank statement: Add and match bank transactions.
