any way to reset 90 day limit on migration from desktop to online?

Hello, Daniel.

Data migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online is only available within the first 90 days of creating your QBO account. If this period passes, the migration option is disabled, and an error message will appear.

Since your QBO account is over 90 days old, you can cancel it and sign up for a new one as a workaround.

To begin with, here's how to cancel your current company:

  1. Open a new browser on your computer.
  2. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the primary or company admin.
  3. Go to Settings and select Subscriptions and billing.
  4. Select Cancel subscription or Cancel. If you're cancelling a trial, select Cancel your trial.

Note: When you cancel QuickBooks, it doesn't delete your data. You'll have read-only access to your company data for one year. To permanently delete your canceled company, find out more about how to manage your personal data from your Intuit Account.

After that, refer to these steps to start a new one.

  1. Sign up for QuickBooks Online.
  2. Enter your user ID and password. You can reuse the same credentials you used for your previous company.

You can now migrate your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) data to QuickBooks Online (QBO) without encountering any error messages on your account. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact the Live Support Team during their available hours.

If you have any concerns, feel free to click the Reply below. I’d be glad to assist you further.
